What are school hours?

Nursery School                       -      9:15 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Kindergarten 1 and 2             -      9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Kindergarten 3                        -      8:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

First and Second Grades      -      8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Third and Fourth Grades      -     8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Fifth and Sixth Grades          -     8:00 a.m. to 2:45 p.m.

How many students are in each classroom and what is the student to teacher ratio?

– The average number of students in each classroom is 28.

Nursery Group A: Maximum 15 children with 3 teachers

Nursery Group B: Maximum 26 children with 4 teachers + 1 English Teacher + 1 Music Teacher

Kindergarten 1: Maximum 30 children with 3 teachers + 1 English Teacher + 1 Music Teacher + Movement Teacher + 1 Tennis Teacher

Kindergarten 2: Maximum 30 children with 3 teachers + 1 English Teacher + 1 Music Teacher + Movement Teacher + 1 Tennis Teacher

Kindergarten 3: Maximum 30 children with 3 teachers + 1 English Teacher + 1 Music Teacher + Movement Teacher + 1 Tennis Teacher

First and Second Grades: Maximum 28 students with Teacher and Teacher’s Aide + English Teacher + Music Teacher + Movement Teacher + Sports Teacher + Nature Teacher.

What is the school’s academic level?

– Colegio Cargolet has an excellent academic level attested by the number of successful student admissions to secondary schools and beyond. Our school has more than 12 years of experience which means that our graduates are now studying at diverse national and international schools.

Do you have extracurricular activities outside of the official academic program (SEG)?

-Yes

Sports: Tennis, golf and yoga classes

Strategy Workshops: Board games and chess classes

Does your school participate in academic, artistic and sports field trips?

-Yes

In elementary school, there are two field trips to places of cultural and historical interest in addition to an annual camping trip.

Are all of the activities mandatory?

– Yes

Only electives are extracurricular: piano, ukulele, drawing and swimming.

Is this a bilingual school?

-Yes

English is acquired in an experiential, playful and meaningful way so that children use the second language as a tool for exploring the world and learning about different cultures.
